6Show and Share - September 2013
These are pieces from our June 2013 Summer Retreat and some of our Yearlong Stitch-a-long projects.
Other pieces our members have stitched and brought along to share with us in September.
In April, we had 3 days of seminar classes with Ellen Chester of With My Needle. Here are pictures of some of the pieces our members have stitched from With My Needle.
Please come back to see more show and share pictures as they are posted!
February, 2013, Show and Share included a beautiful antique sampler. In the first picture, it's in the middle surrounded by the lovely items shared by our members. I included it in the 2nd picture with a couple of close up shots as well.
At our January, 2013 meeting, our members continued to share some of their Christmas items. Among them were several stockings made for family members!
Members continue to stitch and share their many samplers and reproduction samplers.
We also had some Mail Art brought in and other stitched items.
December is our annual ornament exchange meeting and in 2012, we continue to see how much creativity and joy our members have in making and receiving an ornament! Here are the pieces made and exchanged this year.
In November, 2012, we had a lovely variety of show and share pieces. We had members bring the Mail Art that they received for their birthdays.
There were some ornaments brought in - some completely finished and some with the stitching completed.
Members have been completing projects from this and previous year long projects as well as retreats that Sampler Guild has hosted.
Finally there are other samplers and projects our members brought - our group is so talented!
Our members continue to stitch and share their lovely creations with us. These are items that were shared at our October, 2012 meeting.
At our September 2012 meeting, members brought many of the pieces that they worked on and finished over the summer months. We had samplers, retreat projects, seasonal items and even some blue ribbon winners!
The center picture shows the presents each member received as the Guild is celebrating their 25th year! In the lower right hand corner is the door prize that 1 person at each table received.
